Policy and Planning Office

The Policy and Planning Office is charged with identifying and analyzing statewide and federal policy issues; providing guidance in the principles of strategic planning; coordinating the development of department priorities and strategic plan; and assisting in the planning and development of appropriate department-wide performance measures that would not ordinarily be addressed by the divisions in their course of operations. The office is also tasked with, through an integrated approach, SB 63 realignment implementation efforts. The primary emphasis for the office is on comprehensive medium- and long-term strategic analyses and
planning support of department programs.
