Eligibility

Applicants

CalRecycle is using FY 2017-18 funds to fund applicants that were eligible but unfunded in the FY 2016-17 cycle. In order to expedite awarding funds to eligible projects and address the AB 1550 Disadvantaged and Low-income Communities requirements under the California Air Resources Board’s Draft 2017 Cap-and-Trade Auction Proceeds Funding Guidelines for Agencies that Administer California Climate Investments, this cycle will consist of a supplemental application and focused scoring process. Therefore, applicants/projects that are eligible to submit a supplemental application are those that submitted an eligible application in the FY 2016–17 Organics Grant Program, Cycle 2 (ORG2) solicitation and scored 55 points or higher. This supplemental application, in conjunction with the ORG2 previously submitted application, will constitute the ORG3 Cycle application.  No new applications will be accepted for this cycle.

Funding

  • $33,611,491 is available for fiscal year (FY) 2017-18.
