Past Project Statuses

  • November 2. Due to the rain event over the weekend, hazardous conditions prevented crews from accessing properties for site documentation, debris removal, and/or confirmation sampling. Clean up efforts will resume tomorrow if weather continues to improve. Lake County Environmental Health required property owners to turn in Right of Entries (ROE) by close of business to either their office or the Debris Removal Operations Center this past Friday, October 30, or if out of the area have the mail postmarked for program registration.
  • October 15. Site documentation is being conducted on all registered lots. Water crews are prewatering lots and roadways. Two debris removal divisions continued to sort and remove concrete and metals from remaining ash debris on registered lots. A significant number of lots/owners have not turned in their right-of-entry (ROE) forms and the county is working to abate those properties and/or convince the owners to register for the program.
