California Greenin'

What Is It?

California is a diverse state that has been blessed with scenic beauty and rich in resources and well deserves to be dubbed the Golden State. But with such privileges comes responsibility, the responsibility to protect and preserve the natural resources that have made California one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.

The State of California understands what it takes to be responsible to our environment and takes great pride in being a leader in environmental stewardship. Green procurement is one method that state or local agencies and governments can build a sustainable California through demonstrated leadership by buying green products, traveling in a green fashion and working in a green environment.

This website will provide the tools necessary for state and local agencies to be able to function in a sustainable manner. Together, California will be able to manage its energy usage, air and water quality and waste needs. Together, we can create a sustainable California.
