Our conference steering committee worked hard to put together a conference agenda rich with interesting topics relevant to the work we do. A huge thank you to them for their time and efforts! Topics of the conference ranged from nuclear waste transport to closure. One of the highlights of the conference was Dennis Kalson's moving presentation on post-tsunami Sumatra. This year’s conference included field trips to the Frank R. Bowerman Landfill and Olinda-Alpha Landfill/CVT Hybrid Transfer Station. This year's trade show included vendors sharing their products and services relevant to waste management.

Using Less Paper: In 2000, we adopted a less paper conference and have been encouraged to continue this format. Rather than distribute printed proceedings, reference materials are posted on our website. Please refer to the online agenda to view a list of speakers and topics.
