DIVISION 30. Waste Management
PART 4. Solid Waste Facilities
CHAPTER 3. Permit and Inspection Program
ARTICLE 1. Solid Waste Facility Permits

Cal Pub Resources Code 44002 (2000)

44002. [Section repealed 1999.]

HISTORY:

Added Stats 1995 ch 952 17 (AB 59), effective October 16, 1995, operative October 16, 1996. Amended Stats 1996 ch 1038 35 (AB 626), effective September 29, 1996, operative October 16, 1996. Repealed, operative January 1, 1999, by its own terms. The repealed section related to necessity of permit.

NOTES:

FORMER SECTIONS:

Former 44002, similar to the present section, was added Stats 1989 ch 1095 22, amended Stats 1995 ch 952 16, effective October 16, 1995, operative until October 16, 1996, and repealed by its own terms, operative October 16, 1996.

EDITOR'S NOTES:

Stats 1996 ch 1038 35 does not designate which version of Section 44002 it was amending-the version operative at the time of the effective date of Ch 1038 (September29, 1996) and operative until October 16, 1996, or the one to become operative on October 16, 1996. Subdivision (a) of the amendment states that it is operative October 16, 1996, and thus the intent appears to be to amend the version to become operative on that date. Thus the first version has been shown as repealed by its own terms.

NOTE:

Stats 1996 ch 1038 provides:

SEC. 42. It is the intent of the Legislature that local governments and state agencies that own or operate real property in this state should work cooperatively to meet the requirements of the California Integrated Waste Management Act of 1989 (Division 30 (commencing with Section 40000) of the Public Resources Code).
