Schedule Change—Asbestos Training

To: All Local Enforcement Agencies

The California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB)-sponsored Asbestos Training has been rescheduled.

This course is offered to CIWMB field personnel, as well as interested Local Enforcement Agencies (LEA), to update their asbestos training needs.

Kathleen Yokota, Senior Industrial Hygienist, Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) will instruct the course. The training will be held at the following locations:

• June 2, 1999, Sacramento, CA. Class hours 10:00 to 12:00.
• June 3, 1999, Visalia, CA. Class hours 10:00 to 12:00.
• June 17, 1999, Cypress, CA. Class hours 10:00 to 12:00.

Attendance is limited to 30 persons per venue. LEAs may attend on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no registration or course fees associated with this training.
