What are your needs for inspecting Transfer/Processing Operations and Facilities?
Training staff is in the planning stages of developing Transfer/Processing Operations and Facilities inspection training. In order for us to direct this training
we need your input.
Here is a summary of the proposed training:
-
Attendees: Small groups. 3-6, P&I staff/LEAs/Operators
-
Locations: Transfer/Processing Operations and Facilities throughout the State
-
Goals:
-
Focus: Attendees' needs from the top 10 most commonly violated
State Minimum Standards (SMS) or the most problematic
SMS.
-
Resource Kit: The resource kit will have materials that can be used for discussion relative to key SMS and help in addressing problem areas. Examples are photos of compliant and
noncompliant situations, discussion and breakdown of the regulatory requirements, information on best management practices, checklists, information sheets on how to remediate, etc.
Please let us know by July 16th.
-
Would you prefer to focus on the top 10 most violated
SMS?
-
Would you prefer to discuss other problematic SMS instead of the top 10?
-
What types of tools (resource kit) might be useful to assist LEAs/P&I staff/operators in addressing and correcting violations?
-
Do you have contributions to the resource kit?
-
What are some of the barriers to gaining compliance?
-
Please add any other comments or questions you may have.
