Board. These Board and P&E Committee Meeting summaries will be sent
after each Board and P&E Committee Meeting.
Permitting and Enforcement (P&E) Committee Meeting: Monday, October 7,
2002
Board Meeting: October 15 & 16, 2002
Board and P&E Committee Meeting Summary:
The P & E Committee directed staff to initiate an extended 60 day public
comment period on the proposed regulations for Alternative Daily Cover.
A P&E Committee workshop will be conducted during the comment period.
- The P&E Committee directed staff to have another 15-day comment
period on the Compostable Materials Regulations. The second 15-day
comment period began on October 9 and ends on October 24.
- The P&E Committee directed staff to open another 15-day comment
period on the Regulations For The Inventory Of Solid Waste Facilities
Which Violate State Minimum Standards and add language clarifying the
Board's approval responsibilities.
- The next P & E Committee meeting was changed to November 12, there
will not be a workshop at the November Committee meeting due to a very
full agenda.
- The P&E Committee and Board meetings are being
audio broadcast and are available
from almost any personal computer with Internet access.
