This all LEA e-mail is being sent on behalf the LEA Support Services Branch of the Permitting and Enforcement Division.

Below are two announcements to LEAs:

1) On April 24, 2003 Mark Leary announced the following: “There is a new Deputy Director of the Permitting and Enforcement Division. It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce the appointment of Howard Levenson as Deputy Director of our Permitting and Enforcement Division. I believe Howard's history with our organization at all levels and with several programs and his participation in waste policy discussions at the national level provide him the foundation to succeed in this position. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the dedication and hard work that Scott Walker provided as the Division's Acting Deputy Director. Scott has led the organization through some very tough issues over the last 10 months and I know the Board Members, staff and our stakeholders have greatly appreciated it. Scott will continue to be held in the highest regard as he continues to contribute to the success of the division.”

2) On April 25, 2003 Board Chair Linda Moulton-Patterson announced the following: Beginning in June 2003, there will be a new Committee structure to better reflect our Strategic Plan and the Bagley Keene Act. Please see below:
