May 8 CIWMB Workshop Notice

This All LEA e-mail was sent on behalf of the LEA Support Services Branch of the California Integrated Waste Management Board.

On May 8, 2003, California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) staff will conduct a public workshop for interested persons on the solid waste facility permitting, inspection and enforcement processes. The workshop will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Coastal Hearing Room at the CIWMB.

The workshop will provide presentations from Permitting and Enforcement Division staff on the basic requirements and processes and include an opportunity for discussion of issues and concerns from Board members and stakeholders. Copies of the PowerPoint presentation materials will be provided closer to the workshop date.

The workshop is not intended to be a formal meeting of the Board or any of its Committees. It is possible that a representative of the Board or its Committee Members will be present
