Local Enforcement Agency Correspondence $900,000 Settlement Announced in the Thrifty Best Service Case |

Date: July 17, 2003 To: All Local Enforcement Agencies This all LEA e-mail is being sent on behalf of the LEA Support Services Branch of the California Integrated Waste Management Board, and Carol Monahan, Assistant General Counsel Cal/EPA. Based on the dedication of the prosecutors involved in the Thrifty Best/Ameriguard case and the hard work of the Grease Hauler Enforcement Task Force, a $900,000 settlement has been reached in the case and was filed in court today.
