Waste Tire Enforcement Grant

This all LEA e-mail was sent on behalf of the LEA Support Services Branch and the Waste Tire Management Branch of the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB).

The 2003-2004 Waste Tire Enforcement Grant cycle is now open for applications. Six million dollars ($6,000,000) is available for this grant program. Eligible applicants are allowed to request up to $300,000. Local Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and California cities, counties, special districts, joint powers agencies, or political subdivisions, thereof, with experience in the enforcement of laws and regulations and the protection of public health and safety and the environment, are eligible to apply for a grant. The deadline for applications is January 23, 2004.
