Rescission of LEA Advisories 27 and 44

This all LEA e-mail was sent on behalf of the LEA Support Services Branch of the California Integrated Waste Management board.

For your information, Advisories #27 and #44 have been rescinded.

1. Advisory #27 (Permitting Action for Inactive Landfills) has been deemed obsolete with the promulgation of the new closure regulations. You will find the link to the appropriate regulations at the Advisory #27 position on the advisory webpage. If you have any questions, please contact Mike Wochnick at (916) 341-6318.
2. Advisory #44 (Gas Monitoring Procedures) is also outdated. Staff is currently updating the procedures and creating a new webpage to provide gas monitoring guidance. The new information will be available on-line soon. If you have any questions, please contact John Bell at (916) 341-6368 or Gino Yekta at (916) 341-6354.
