Local Enforcement Agency Correspondence Survey on Barriers to Construction and Demolition Debris Reuse and Recycling in California |
|
|
Date: October 3, 2004 To: All Local Enforcement Agencies This all LEA e-mail was sent on behalf of the LEA Support Services Branch, and Allison Spreadborough, Permitting and Inspection Branch of the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB). The CIWMB realizes that LEAs perform the main role for regulatory oversight at all solid waste facilities. As you conduct your work in this fashion, we hope that you can also help the CIWMB in our efforts to identify the major barriers to the reuse and recycling of construction and demolition (C&D) debris, a major component of solid waste disposal in California. Your opinion matters and we seek your help by participating in our easy on-line survey before October 15, 2004. Your participation in this survey will provide the CIWMB with information needed to encourage more reuse and recycling of C&D resources. The survey results will be presented at a November 2004 Board meeting, and if you participate in this survey, we will e-mail you in advance about the date, time, location, and Agenda Item number. Thank you for your participation! Follow the four steps below to complete the survey:
