CalEPA 2007 Consolidated Environmental Law Enforcement Report

The CalEPA 2007 Consolidated Environmental Law Enforcement Report summarizes the varied pieces of California’s decentralized environmental enforcement system. The California Integrated Waste Management Board uses a “compliance first” approach and major program highlights begin on page 153 of the report. One measure of the level of compliance is the number of facilities that have repeated violations. During 2007, the number facilities dropped from seventeen to two.
