Comment on Landfill Gas Well/Probe Best Management Practices

Please review the draft best management practices (BMPs) that were adapted from the SCS Engineers report (MS Word, 432 KB) on landfill gas monitoring well functionality presented to the Board’s Strategic Policy Committee on July 15, 2008. The Board accepted the SCS report and recommendations.

The Board is seeking comments on the draft from stakeholders by September 2, 2008. Your comments, along with those from a technical advisory group (TAG), will be considered by Board staff as the BMPs are finalized by October 2008.
