Regulations Alert! May 9, 2008 Deadline for Temporary Permit

New Temporary Permit Regulations have been approved.

Operators have until May 9, 2008 to apply for a temporary solid waste facility permit.

Enforcement agencies are required to notify the operators of non-permitted solid waste facilities that were active in 2007 regarding this May 9th deadline. Attached is the final version of the approved regulations (MS Word, 427 KB) and a timeline for implementation (Adobe PDF, 21 KB) of the regulatory requirements.
