Incorporate Landfill Gas Regulatory Changes into SWIS Inspection Forms 52 & 188

Save a Forest by Modifying Your Triplicate NCR Paper SWIS Forms (Revision Date 01/07) or Use Fillable PDFs

Solid Waste Inspection System (SWIS) forms were affected by the adoption and subsequent effective date of the landfill gas regulations. There are two options available to LEAs to reflect these changes on the inspection reports.

1. When using CIWMB-supplied paper forms 188 & 52 (Revision Date 01/07), report violations or areas of concern for 27 CCR Sections 20921 & 20937 in the “Other” section on the lower right-hand side of the reporting grid. When using the “Other” box, only applicable regulations should be cited. Do not use regulations from other portions of law or regulation that do not apply to the specific inspection being conducted. (Note: Explosive Gas Control, 27 CCR Sections 20919.5, has been repealed and is not citable.)
2. The fillable PDFs of form 188 (fillable PDF, 1.7 MB) and form 52 (fillable PDF, 1.7 MB) reflect the changes above and are now available on the CIWMB website (revision date 09/08).
