Stakeholder Workshop December 9, 2009 on Strategic Directive 8.3

Input Sought on Farm and Ranch Composting Storage Volume Limitations and Beneficial Use

Stakeholders are invited to provide input on draft papers concerning issues related to the regulations for farm and ranch composting storage volume limitations and beneficial use as well as potential options to address the issues. These draft papers have been developed to provide input on the Board's Strategic Directive 8.3 which requires an ongoing review and analysis of regulations in light of current science, market issues, and applicable technologies.

The workshop will be held at 1:00 pm on December 9, 2009 at the CalEPA Building in Sacramento. The draft issue papers will be available on the Board's SD 8.3 Regulatory Review webpage a week prior to the workshop.
