Updated Documents on Guidance Implementation Available Now

Effective January 1, 2009, AB 2679 modified Public Resources Code sections to enhance enforcement for local agencies.

The Board, after consultation with LEAs, has updated Minor Violation Implementation Guidance and Frequently Asked Questions documents. These updates reflect input received during the review and comment period that ended March 2009.

Additionally, the Minor Violation Process flowchart (Adobe PDF, 103 KB) has been added to the guidance document and Minor Violation Process vs. Current Process (Adobe PDF, 45 KB) is embedded in the FAQs. These charts provide a summary of the minor violation process described in the PRC 45003 document.
