Comment Period for “Phase 2” Ends October 5

The Board seeks input on proposed changes to regulations for long-term postclosure maintenance and corrective action cost estimates and financial assurance demonstrations for landfills (a.k.a. Phase 2 regulations). The 45–day comment period is from August 20 through October 5, 2009. The Comment Period Notice (MS Word, 101 KB), the Proposed Regulations (Adobe PDF, 169 KB) and other information regarding the proposed regulations are located on the Board web site.
