Debris Management Plan Workshops
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and California Emergency Management Agency (CalEMA), with support from CIWMB staff, has developed the Debris Management Plan Workshop to enhance state and local capacity to manage debris removal operations in a cost effective, environmentally sound, and timely manner. This fast paced workshop is free and has been designed to stimulate the discussions and interaction necessary to produce a comprehensive debris plan.
The workshop is geared for state and local government participants directly involved in debris planning and operations (public works, solid waste, civil engineers, solid waste local enforcement agencies (LEAs), code enforcement, finance, etc.). The workshop focuses on debris management plan development.
