Training: New Classes on State Minimum Standards for Solid Waste Facilities

June 29-30, 2009--Baldwin Park and Redlands
This free 2-day class offers expert instruction on assessing compliance with State Minimum Standards and applying best management practices to avoid violations during solid waste facility inspections. A full day of classroom training on June 29 will include information on explosive gas control, litter, cleaning at transfer stations and recordkeeping. On June 30, a morning visit to a Redlands compost facility offers practical field experience. Participants may register for one or both days.
