The request for comment has been extended to March 4 for two white papers:
- Farm and Ranch Composting Compostable Material Storage Volume Limitations (Adobe PDF, 277 KB)
- Agricultural Land Application of Compostable Material (Beneficial Use)
Some stakeholder concerns were presented during the February 8, Waste Compliance and Mitigation Program’s monthly meeting. More background on regulatory review activities related to food waste, beneficial use, and storage limitations is included on the website Regulatory Review: Strategic Directive 8.3.
