Draft Program Environmental Impact Report for Statewide Anaerobic Digester Facilities is Available

CalRecycle has released a Draft Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for Statewide Anaerobic Digester Facilities for the Treatment of Municipal Organic Solid Waste . The Draft PEIR is available online. LEA’s are encouraged to review the EIR and send in comments. We also ask that you pass this information on to your counterparts in your jurisdiction’s planning departments (city and county). CalRecycle will hold a public meeting on March 15, 2011 to discuss the Draft Program EIR and receive comments. Written comments will be accepted until April 4, 2011.
