State Minimum Standards Training for Solid Waste Facilities

This ten hour class provided both classroom and field exercises evaluating compliance with select state minimum standards at solid waste facilities. This course focused on the needs of local enforcement agencies, CIWMB staff, solid waste operators and their staff, as well as other interested parties. This training was conducted by managers and other staff experts from California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board).

The instructors used lectures, photographic based presentations and group exercises to examine compliance with and violation of state regulations for solid waste facilities.

Summary

Over the course of two days, this training was attended by 153 representatives for Local Enforcement Agencies, 122 Operators and 32 other interested parties.

Instructors

This training was conducted by managers and other staff experts from the Permitting and Local Enforcement Agency Support Divisions of the Board.
