Local Government Information Center (LoGIC)
Welcome to the LoGIC system.
LoGIC is designed to help California cities and counties easily submit, find, and manage their solid waste disposal and diversion data. Over time, LoGIC will update, and in some cases expand upon, the information found in many existing CalRecycle data systems, all while consolidating access to that data at a single “one-stop,” easy-to-find page.
First things first! Access to LoGIC is secured, so you will first need to create a WebPass account. WebPass accounts are created for individuals, not organizations, and will be tied to your specific email address. If you change your email address or it becomes inactive, you will need to create a new WebPass account to continue accessing LoGIC. Please make certain all individuals obtain their own password and do not share passwords within your organization. Users with WebPass accounts will be able to receive important email updates.
Electronic Disposal Reporting System
The first operable portion of LoGIC is the Electronic Disposal Reporting System. Key features of eDRS include electronic data entry over the Internet or an electronic upload for county disposal data and real-time viewing of disposal reporting system data by jurisdiction representatives. Jurisdiction representatives will only be able to see preliminary Electronic Disposal Reporting System data belonging to their own jurisdiction.
Electronic Annual Report
The second operable portion of LoGIC is the Electronic Annual Report, which has been updated to reflect the new per capita disposal measurement system. Although some aspects of the former goal measurement system, such as generation studies and adjustment factors, are no longer applicable, we have retained the old format as much as possible. This continuity, coupled with simplified data entry, will enable a smoother transition to the new system.
Please contact the LoGIC administrator at email@example.com if you have any questions.
