Disposal Reporting System (DRS)
CalRecycle staff enters this data into the DRS database, triple checks the entry to ensure
it matches the tonnage submitted by each county, and then releases the finalized
data in yearly increments. Only finalized data are shown in these reports.
daily cover (ADC) means CalRecycle-approved materials other than soil
used as a temporary overlay on an exposed landfill face. Note: ADC by material type
is not available prior to 1998.
The original format DRS web report, used by many jurisdictions to check their disposal
tonnage prior to filing an annual report, is listed below as
"Jurisdiction Disposal and ADC Tons by Facility."
These reports include solid waste disposal, export, and alternative daily cover.
