Statewide Biennial Review Compliance Status

This Report provides Statewide Biennial Board (now known as CalRecycle) Review compliance status and diversion rate range statistics for the report years 1995-2006. Total number of jurisdictions may vary for different years due to Regional Agency formation and/or changes or inclusion of newly incorporated cities.

Note: The California Integrated Waste Management Board (Board) conducted biennial reviews every two or four report years as described in the new goal measurement system for 2007 and beyond (SB2016).

The information on this page gives the Biennial Review status code definitions for the report years 1995 through 2006. New review status codes and definitions will be developed to cover report year 2007 and beyond. The Board has been replaced by the Department of Resources, Recycling, and Recovery (CalRecycle) as the department in charge of reviewing a jurisdictions progress in meeting the Integrated Waste Managment Act requirements.
