Contaminated Soils

Description:  The regulations define nonhazardous petroleum contaminated soil operations, place the operations into the California Integrated Waste Management Board's (CIWMB) regulatory tiers, and establish permitting requirements and minimum operating standards.

Affected Regulatory Code Sections:  Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Division 7, Chapter 3, Article 5.6, Sections 17360 through 17366;  and Chapter 5, Article 3.2, Section 18224.

History: These regulations were approved by OAL on March 25, 1996 and became effective April 24, 1996.
