Description: This rulemaking created a permit, inspection and
enforcement program for the disposal of asbestos-containing waste at solid facilities.
Affected Regulatory Code Sections: Title 14, California Code of
Regulations (CCR), Division 7, Chapter 3.5, Articles 1 through 4, Sections 17897 through
17897.25.
History: The regulations were approved by OAL on January 13,
1997 and became effective on February 13, 1997.
