Recycled Content Trash Bag Program

Description: These regulations add the list of evidence and criteria needed to evaluate a petition for variance from the recycled plastic post consumer material (RPPCM) use requirements for trash bags that use adhesive, heat-affixed straps. This change was completed in conformance with the requirements of Chapter 821, Statutes of 1995 (AB 1851, Sher).

Affected Regulatory Code Sections: Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR), Division 7, Chapter 4, Article 5, Sections 17975 - 17985.

History: These amendments were approved by OAL on May 30, 1997 and filed with the Secretary of State on that date.
