Subtitle D Flexibilities Emergency Regulations

Description: These emergency regulations incorporate into State regulations flexibility provided for small volume landfills under Subtitle D of the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (40 Federal Code of Regulations, aprt 258). The flexibilities are: alternative frequency of application of daily cover and alternative frequency for explosive gas monitoring for landfills receiving 20 tons or less of waste per day based on an annual average.

History: The Board adopted the emergency regulations at its April 29, 1998 meeting. These emergency regulations became effective on October 28, 1998.
