Description
Amendments to the California Integrated Waste Management Board's conflict of interest
code, which designates the positions within the agency that make or participate in the
making of decisions that may foreseeably affect any financial interest and requires the filing of a Statement of Economic Interests disclosing
any potential financial interests.

Rulemaking History
A 45-day public review and comment period was noticed in the California Regulatory
Notice Register on March 19, 1999. Public comments were accepted until
May 3, 1999. On May 27, 1999 the regulations were adopted by the Board.
Subsequent to the adoption, the Board organizational structure changed
(Special Waste Division added). A newly revised code reflecting these
changes was noticed for review and comment in the fall of 2000.
