Disposal Site Gas Monitoring and Control Compliance Deadlines
The Office of Administrative Law approved the regulations on February 18, 2009, and the regulations became immediately effective.
Description
Revised regulations to adjust compliance deadlines and specify submittal and implementation timeframes related to landfill gas monitoring and control programs at disposal sites.

Rulemaking History
On August 19, 2008, the Board directed staff to formally notice the proposed regulations for a 45-day public comment period. A 45-day public comment period on proposed text ran from September 12 through October 27, 2008. Board staff held a public hearing on October 29, 2008 to receive additional comments on the proposed text. On November 10, 2008, the Board's Permitting and Compliance Committee directed staff to notice an additional 15-day comment period for changes to the regulations. The 15-day comment period ran from November 13 through December 3, 2008. The Board adopted the regulations on December 16, 2008.
