Economic Impact Survey: Rigid Plastic Packaging Container Regulations

The surveys are now closed. The input received from the survey participants will be incorporated into the rulemaking package economic impact report.

Introduction

The California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle)is in the process of revising regulations governing the Rigid Plastic Packaging Container (RPPC) Program. As part of the process, CIWMB asked businesses to calculate the economic impact on their operations from the proposed revisions to the RPPC regulations.

Please note that the surveys initially posted had a minor typographical error. While the description of the proposed revisions was correct, the cited reference number of the regulations was off. The error was corrected.

What Your Information Will Do

An analysis of survey responses will be included by staff as part of the data submitted to the CIWMB for consideration. Stakeholder input was extremely valuable, and the information provided on each survey will be kept confidential.
