Subject:    King County, WA Passes Second Drug EPR Ordinance in the U.S.

The King County Board of Health voted unanimously on June 20 in support of a county-wide Rule & Regulation establishing a secure medicine take-back system that is financed and provided by pharmaceutical manufacturers.  It comes after the Alameda County Board of Supervisors unanimously passed the first ordinance of its kind in the U.S. in July last year.
