This two-page outreach brochure was prepared by the staff of the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery (CalRecycle). It explains the new state requirements for most California businesses and public entities (those generating at least four cubic yards of solid waste per week) and multifamily residential projects (those with five or more units) to begin recycling programs by July 1, 2012. (This brochure was updated in June 2012).
