Business Waste Reduction

Business Kits

The CIWMB is pleased to offer business kits that contain publications that local governments can use to educate businesses in their communities about waste reduction.

We will assemble a kit for you after we talk (916-341-6363) or correspond with you to determine your needs. The kits might include guidebooks, brochures, and fact sheets on subjects such as waste reduction in offices, hotels, retail stores, print shops, at meetings and conferences, the food service industry, landscape industry, property management, and hospitals. There is also information available on materials exchanges, reduced packaging, motivating employers and employees, awards programs, strategies for getting businesses involved in waste reduction, and much more. These materials can be "mixed and matched" into customized sets, appropriate for different types of businesses.

Ordering Information

You can also assemble your own business kit from the Business Waste Reduction section and other sections of the Board's online Publication Catalog. If you plan to distribute them, we can provide limited  quantities of printed copies for you at no charge. After viewing individual or small collections of various business related fact sheets e-mail the below address with the publication(s) name and quantity. Don't forget to review our waste reduction posters and signs.
