Battery Poster Versions

At one time the California Integrated Waste Management Board (now known as the Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery or CalRecycle) offered the battery poster in a second digital-only version. This version was different than the standard version in that it provided some additional room at the bottom of the poster for those who reproduced it to list announcements of special events.

Interest in this second digital version has been minimal. Thus, with the redesigning of the battery poster, and with introduction of the highly demanded Spanish version, and in order to keep graphic design and web management costs to a minimum, the second digital-only version has been discontinued.

If you feel that there is still a need for this second digital-only version, please contact CalRecycle's business assistance team. However, there is another option. You can request permission to alter the design of the digital images as posted so that you can make additional room for announcements. Permission is required to alter the design.  However, CalRecycle generally grants permission to those who request to alter the design of waste reduction and recycling posters and stickers. Simply e-mail your request to alter the design to opa@calrecycle.ca.gov.
