Packaging Waste Reduction
Instructions for Case Studies
One of our objectives is to exchange information and ideas. For this reason, we welcome case studies that will help educate others about shipping and distribution efficiency. If you would like us to consider linking to a case study on your website, or if you would like to submit a case study to us, please follow the guidelines below.
Content
Please be sure the case study:
- Focuses on shipping and distribution efficiencies that result in less packaging going to landfills.
- Shows innovative material use or innovative implementation.
- Includes measured cost savings or waste reduction, preferably both.
When submitting materials, please note that CIWMB will not distribute product promotions. Papers submitted must read as educational papers, rather than product promotions or endorsements. Case studies that mention a particular product are acceptable in most situations. Authors will have the opportunity to approve edits, if any are needed.
Maximum Length
- No limit, if we link to a case study on your website.
- Equivalent to four typewritten pages, if you submit a case study to us. (Include contact information for people who want to know more about your case study.)
Send to the contact listed below.
The identification of individuals, companies, and products does not constitute endorsement by the Integrated Waste Management Board and is provided for informational purposes only. This information is distributed in an effort to increase public awareness and knowledge about these important topics.
