  • Art From Scrap
    Donated materials at Art From Scrap are reused by students to make art projects during a waste reduction field trip(s) and by the community when they participate in AFS and other community art workshops.

  • (GOV)(NP) Del Norte Regional Recycling and Transfer Station
    Services all Ventura County residents (no businesses or nonprofits). Identification is required (driver's license or utility bill) to confirm county residency. Open Monday-Saturday: 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary.

  • (GOV) City of Fontana Household Materials Reuse Center
    Provides an easy way to take advantage of unwanted products through their Household Materials Reuse Center at no cost to residents. Available materials range from automotive products and paint, to household cleaners and pool chemicals.

  • Last Chance Mercantile Reuse Store
    Accepts and distributes surplus and salvage materials to the general public. See Profiles for more information.
  • (NP) The Loading Dock, Inc.
    A building materials reuse center whose mission is to increase the supply of decent, affordable housing while promoting sustainable development through reuse.

  • (GOV) Materials for the Arts Center
    Accepts reusable building materials (1¢ per pound drop-off charge applies) and has free used materials available to individuals. Materials accepted and available include: lumber, doors, windows, insulation, shingles, lighting, piping, cabinets, sinks, etc.

  • (NP) Sustainable Surplus Exchange
    As an environmental nonprofit whose mission is to keep usable assets out of the landfills, Sustainable Surplus accepts surplus assets from corporations and repurpose them back into the community. Items include office supplies, desks, bookshelves, chairs, tables, computers, scientific supplies and equipment, tools, cubicles---anything that has a possibility of reuse!

  • University of California, Davis Bargain Barn
    The Bargain Barn returns into circulation equipment, furniture, and supplies that are no longer used in UC Davis Campus and Medical Center departments. Items are made available to the public if they are not picked up by others in the university.
