EcoTech was founded in Palo Alto, California in 1992 and today serves a worldwide market from its Sunnyvale, California offices.
Operations
EcoTech recycles used and excess plastic IC trays by collecting, sorting, cleaning, inspecting, testing, and repackaging the trays for direct reuse in the marketplace. Defective and obsolete materials are segregated by base resin type for grinding, pelletizing, and use as filler stock in the production of new materials.
Materials Accepted
Used and excess plastic IC trays used for the production, testing, marking, baking, storage, and transporting of integrated circuits (ICs). These materials may be marked with the "7" OTHER recycling mark.
Source of Materials
Used and excess plastic IC trays will be found in both semiconductor companies and at any location where electronics are assembled, tested, or repaired.
Collection Services
EcoTech provides collection and shipping services for the reclamation of these materials.
