Vintage Timberworks

Overview

Vintage Timberworks supplies recycled seasoned old growth lumber, antique beams, salvage timbers, and used/remanufactured wood flooring reclaimed from the dismantling of antiquated structures. The products can be used "as is" or can be remanufactured with a hand hewn, sawn, surfaced, wire brushed, or sandblasted appearance.

History

The company was founded as a result of a demand for the products created from their use of exposed recycled timbers and lumber in some of the custom homes they built in the 1980's. Originally intended as a part time auxiliary company when it was founded eight years ago, Vintage has grown into a full time operation, doubling in size annually. They maintain their inventory/production yard in Rainbow just south of Temecula, California.

Operations Geographic
Service Area
Vintage purchases old growth lumber and timber which generally come from buildings constructed prior to 1940. The buildings range from industrial buildings to barns. Currently, Vintage is especially active on most of the military bases being deconstructed. Their current geographical range of sources include the United States, Canada, and Australia. Vintage is frequently called upon to facilitate the deconstruction of buildings through its connection with the hand wrecking community in Southern California. Their materials are usually sourced through professional demolition contractors. While the majority of their products are used in Southern California, they also service clients throughout the United States and Canada via sales representatives.
