Waste Tire Handling For the purposes of this document, "waste tire handling" is a broad general term for classification relating to the handling, processing, and/or storage of waste tires and, includes waste tire sites and other waste tire handling activities. See also: Classification.
Waste Tire Location Is a waste tire site with a waste tire count and/or waste tire equivalents count that is to be determined. This determination may include location investigation and whether the counts are above 500 or below 500. For the purposes of this document, a "waste tire location" is a waste tire site that is not defined as a major or minor waste tire facility and/or if it is an operation not currently regulated. This "activity" may be used primarily for facilities that meet the definitions for exclusion as set forth in 14 CCR 18420. Also see Major and Minor Waste Tire Facility. See also: Activity.
Waste Tire Site Is a general term used to describe places with any amount of waste tires or waste tire equivalents. For the purposes of this document, a "waste tire site" includes all places, locations, tracts of land, areas, or premises, either indoors or outdoors, where waste tires are or will be stored, stockpiled, accumulated, discarded, collected, or processed. Waste Tire Sites include Major and Minor Waste Tire Facilities, Waste Tire Location and excluded sites. See also: Category.
Waste Types (Permitted Waste Types) Solid wastes and other wastes permitted to be received, processed, handled and/or disposed of at a facility. See also: Site/Unit Specifications
WDR Class (Waste Discharge Requirement Class) Regional Water Quality Control Board classification of a waste management unit as I, II, III or UC (unclassified).
Within an Incorporated Area The nature of a locality within an incorporated city. See also: place type.
Wood Waste Disposal Site For the purposes of this document, "wood waste disposal site" includes the place, location, tract of land, area or premises in use, intended to be used, or which has been used for the land disposal of nonhazardous wood waste derived from timber production or wood product manufacturing.
