Workshops

Three workshops were scheduled to receive comments on the contractor's draft report and the draft California Integrated Waste Management Boare (now CalRecycle) staff report as part of the Board's study to identify potential long-term threats and financial assurance mechanisms for long-term postclosure maintenance and corrective action at solid waste landfills (consistent with the requirements of Assembly Bill 2296, enacted on September 27, 2006).

  • Two workshops to receive comments from the Group and the public on the draft Board staff report. The draft Board staff report will be based on results of the contracted study and include recommendations proposed by Board staff regarding long-term postclosure maintenance and/or corrective action financial assurance requirements.
