Waste Tire Enforcement
Grantee Roundtables
The waste tire roundtables are offered to waste tire grantees twice yearly in four regions throughout the state. The roundtables were developed to promote more efficient communication and cooperative relationships with the more than 40 waste tire grantees statewide. The roundtable format allows CalRecycle staff and waste tire grantees to meet and discuss issues of regional concern with statewide implications.
Topics include investigation of illegal tire disposal activities; performing waste tire facilities inspections; and surveying tire dealers, auto dismantlers, tire haulers, and other waste tire generators to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the manifest system.

Dates and locations are subject to change depending on the status of State budget negotiations and any resulting staff travel restrictions.
