Playground Safety Inspection Resources

The list of California playground safety inspectors can be found on the California Playground Safety Inspectors fact sheet, provided by the California Park and Recreation Society.

Please note:

• Most companies will charge a "time and materials" rate that can be $75-$150 per hour.
• Playground safety inspectors for regions around California are limited, but the list changes when new inspectors are added. Please review the fact sheet periodically to receive updated information.

Playground safety inspectors must participate in the National Playground Safety Institute (NPSI) Playground Safety course and pass the NPSI exam. To obtain registration forms for future courses, view the playground safety information at www.cprs.org.
