| The Solid Waste Characterization Database provides estimates of the types and amounts
of materials in the waste streams of individual California jurisdictions in 1999.
The data in the database was collected during the 1999
Waste Characterization Study. Select
one or more jurisdictions, which are listed in county order using three letter county codes. Check what county a city is located in using the city-county reference list. Select multiple jurisdictions by
holding down the SHIFT or CTRL keys (maximum of 20).
